Chuva Featherstone is a mixed media artist born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her work consists of the layering and deconstructing of textures and figurative shapes, often depicting women, caught in the whispers of subtle shifts and the seemingly “complex” tangles of self renewal.

Pulling heavily from the colorful and vast cityscape of her hometown as well as personal experiences of back sliding and self destruction, Chuva transmutes moments of reckoning into a form of non-linear storytelling, her own piecemeal map navigating womanhood.
Chuva currently works as a design director at Doberman and lives in Copenhagen with her husband Fredrik, and their sons Wolfgang and Viggo.
